WHERE DOES YOUR CBD COME FROM?
Our CBD is made from two simple ingredients, an evergreen plant and lemon peel, and is molecularly identical to CBD derived from cannabis or hemp. However, since our CBD is made from non-cannabis botanicals that also contain cannabinoids there is no chance of our CBD containing THC or other psychoactive compounds.
HOW IS YOUR CBD MADE?
Our CBD is produced in an FDA certified, cGMP food grade facility in the United States.Instead of extracting CBD from plants, our CBD is created through natural product assembly. The evergreen plant material is combined with lemon peel and put under high heat and pressure for an extensive time. At the end of this process, the pure CBD molecule is isolated which makes it free of any byproducts or chemicals. The end result of this specialized process produces the pristine, odorless, tasteless CBD molecule.
IS CBD LEGAL?
Because our CBD is not sourced from cannabis or hemp, it is guaranteed not to contain any THC and is therefore not a Schedule 1 substance. In fact, we can legally ship Gron CBD products anywhere in the United States, with the exception of Idaho, Kansas, Nebraska and South Dakota due to these states specific laws regarding any CBD products.
IF CBD IS A CANNABINOID, WON’T IT GET ME HIGH?
Although THC and CBD are both cannabinoids and interact with our endocannabinoid system, they are structurally different and affect us in very different ways. Specifically, THC is particularly good at binding with and activating what we call the CB1 cannabinoid receptor, and that receptor is the site most responsible for the feeling of being high. CBD, on the other hand, stimulates the CB2 receptor and actually inhibits binding to the CB1 receptor. This means that ingesting our CBD can never get you high.
WILL TAKING YOUR CBD MAKE ME TEST
POSITIVE ON A DRUG TEST?
Again, there is absolutely no cannabis or hemp involved in the production of our CBD, so there is no chance of there being any THC in our products. Because of this, there is no chance our product will cause a positive result on tests looking for traces of THC.
